The Country Place First Opened Its Doors in 1974. It
Became Clear to Bob Buffin, A Local Frankfort
Buisness Man, That Franklin County Was Lacking Any
Real Musical Attractions. Besides The Local Bars
There Was No Place For Local Musicians To Be
Featured. So After About A Year Of Planning Bob
Started Ground Breaking On What Became
Country Place Jamboree
Now
David And Tomi Barrett, Who Over The Years Have Owned
Everything From Resturants To A Very Prominent
Printing Company, And Even A Promotions Company That
Focused On Promoting Local Entertainment, They Used
Thier Connections In The Entertainment Buisness To Get
One Of The Area's Top Local Groups,
Weekend Warriors,
As The Country Place's Saturday Nigh House Band
Dave And Tomi Are Dedicated To Keeping Alive
The Vision That Bob Had In The 70's
It Has Always Been The Goal To Offer The Frankfort
Kentucky Community A Family Oriented Atmosphere That
People Of All Ages Could Go And Enjoy Good Music
Without All The Problems Associated With Noisy Bars.
Also It Gave Local Musicians A Place That They Could
Call Home.
Over The Years Country Place Has
Offered A Very Wide Range Of Quaility Music With A
Mix Of Comedy That Has Been Hard To Match.
